Overview

Kaldon is the title of the owner of the Pharas-born Arah Mining Group, who is the top leader of the entire group. Kaldons are responsible for ensuring the overall prosperous state of Arah, giving proper direction for the group, and protecting their interests in dealing with others groups & leaders of the nations. Kaldons are chosen from the most experienced members of the Arah Mining Group, who also possess great business sense as well.

Career

Qualifications

In order for a person to become a Kaldon, they must be a native-born Pharas who has worked in the mining field for many years. They must also have received training in understanding how to run a mining group, and have had several successful mining assignments such as running one of the mining settlements in the Yashper Valley. Once that is achieve, the candidate must appeared before the Arah council to be properly examined for consideration. If all of the requirements have been met, then the candidate need only give their vow to fulfill the office of Kaldon for duration of their time in the Arah Group. Once vows have been stated, the candidate can take up their new position as Kaldon immediately or upon a future time if needed.

Perception

Purpose

The position of Kaldon is very demanding as the Kaldon must travel a lot throughout the lands where Arah has their mining ventures, inspecting each site to ensure that all is well. Because of this, Kaldon are required to have steward see to their home affairs so they are able to examine each settlement for a period of a few months each year. They must also meet with the heads of other organizations to maintain important ties, and represent Arah interestes in any agreements. The Kaldon will need to make certain that their schedule is clear for the position, and have assistants who are capable to handling affairs on their behalf in other mining settlements whenever needed.
