The Sabrael letters

100 years from the present day the Sabrael letters are several letters that were sent to a newspaper called the Inquire Tribune. These were written by a well-known at the time teacher, inventor, and writer Gagiel Chason. Gagiel wrote these letters under another name which was Sabrael Mailin, hence the name ‘The Sabrael Letters’. These letters talk about different problems or incidents of what they felt was miss-steps of the government or other authority body. Pointing out trouble or ways that things had been not properly handled.   These letters have been the subject of many conspiracies. Most of these rise from the question, why did Gagiel send these letters to the newspaper secretly by using a different name? Some have speculated that it was because of the content of the letters that would have landed Gagiel in trouble with his job. This though is because, in several of the incidents that are talked about, he was involved in one way or another. Others have said that most of the content of the letters was inflammatory at the time and caused an outcry from the populace, especially coming from such a prominent figure. There are even some that think that the letters were a way for Gagiel to write out his feelings in an unknown way. There is even a group that says that Gagiel wrote a code in the letters to help locate a lost city of Manatunga. Which is a mythical city that was said to be advanced and had found a way to extend one’s life and many other technological advances.   What is known is that when Gagiel was a young man he wrote several letters to the Inquire Tribune under the name Sabrael Mailin. The information about this came from Gagiel’s children after Gagiel’s death. They found that he wrote about the letters in his journal but they also found a few more unsent letters in a locked box addressed the same way and to the same newspaper. Gagiel never says why he did it or for what purpose.
