Oracle Solutions

Oracle Solutions network is a communication network across Anicarta. This network was set up by a magic user by the name of Kapral Blackwing. While Kapral Blackwing was exploring he discovered a smooth black stone. This stone also would break off into flat almost square shapes. This stone called Aero stone, Kapral was found to be very receptive to magic. Kapral took several samples back to his home on the west coast of Anicarta. First Kapral experimented to find which magic it took and what it would do. During this process, Kapral ran out of what he normally would write on for notes so he decided to write on the stone. Suddenly a different stone next to him made a soft pining sound. He looked at it and saw that the stone had new scratches on it. After several failed spells and potions he finally was able to write on stone and have it appear on the other stone. He also found that he could wipe the stone to use over and over. Once he did this he wanted to see how far apart the stones could communicate before failing. So he sent one of the stones to his brother who lived in a different city. He asked his brother to write on the stone as soon as he got it. It worked and the two brothers communicated like that for about a year before the wife of the brother asked what was going on. She suggested that they market it. So Kapral did more experimenting with the stones and magic. He found a way that addresses the stones with names. Once the stones were named he could get the message to go to just one stone not all of them. In doing this Kapral Blackwing, his brother Roy and his wife Mei started Oracle Solutions. It did not take long before there was a network set up all along the western coast of Anicarta. From there other kingdoms and governments wanted in. About ten years after Mei suggested marketing it, there are very few locations on Anicarta that do not have access to Oracle Solutions.
How it works, Kapral and a few select others enchant the stones. The enchanted Aero stones are then distributed among the Oracle Solution offices. To use, the person writes on the stone which city, town, the Oracle solution office it is to go to. Then the person the message is for, the message. The place that the message goes to responds that they got it before the sender wipes the stone down to be used again. At the Oracle Solution office workers compile the messages and send them to where they need to be in the city. There are some private networks that they have set up mostly for the very rich or governments.
