Mythic Twist

Mythic Twist is an organization that runs a series of libraries all over Anicarta. It runs the libraries and a group that researches to find more information to add to the libraries.
The organization structure is there is a head librarian and head researcher. Next, come the then ten regional librarians and regional researchers. Then district librarians/researchers, and then city librarians/researchers. Some people mistakenly believe that librarians and researchers are different organizations, however, they are not. The head librarian and researcher are the top two and meet often to make sure that things are running smoothly. The regional librarians have their regions that they are in charge of and if there are problems that they can not handle it is brought to the Head librarian. The same goes for the district librarians, they have districts within regions that they watch over and report to the regional librarians. The city librarians are in charge of their own library. Some cities can have three to five libraries which means that there are at least five city librarians sometimes more. The city librarians report to the district librarians. Now the parallel research part of the mythic twist kind of runs the same way, the only difference is that the head, regional, and district handle the diplomatic parts of the job along with looking up books, stories, tales, and research from around Anicarta to add to the libraries. The head researcher sometimes will also join expeditions when they are excited about the subject. The regional researchers normally only deal with two or three governments within their region. The district researchers deal with only their local governments. The city researchers don’t quite describe them as they are the ones who are going and doing the leg work of finding the material after the permissions have been granted. The head librarian is brought in when there are several different governments that the city researchers need permission from to do their job.
Mythic Twist’s origin is a bit of a mystery as no one is quite sure when or where it started. There is a tale that the noble Taki Maketi started the Mythic Twist as he was searching for his answers. Others say that he just used Mythic Twist to help in his search and that the organization had been founded many years beforehand. Only the head librarian and researcher know the truth and they are not known for spilling their secrets.
