Lowlands

A lush mountain basin far to the north ruled by the Aspin Family, out of the city of Asovale. The basin is home to thick forests that restrict travel, thus most transportation is done by river. Many ruins of abandon settlements hide within the forest and mountains. Only the druids of the Circle of Winter freely roam the lands, and even they take great caution when deep in the woods.
While the Lowlands are a vassal of the Kingdom of Vellarmere, the Aspin Family is where the real loyalty of the people resides.

The frigid north is kept at bay by two blessed shrines which enchant the northern rivers and halt encroaching fogs. Legend says they protect fragments from the fallen twin gods of the sun and moon.

In the northern ocean lies the continent of Naiyor, an old seat of power to the fallen Rel Empire. In current day, power is divided among many kingdoms and city-sates. However the Rel have reformed and rebuilt, now they grow ambitious for old glory.
Mysterious fog creeps from the frigid north, but snow cover mountains seemingly halt it's advance.
In the center of the content a large swamp has formed a crater formed after the death of a fallen divine. Few dare enter as the swamp and stories of what lies within grow.
To the south the bleak Greylands refuse to heal from The Collapse. In spite of the barren soil, some still call those dangerous fields home.
