A war breaks out between the users of magic and the masters of physical energy. Over the course of this war most of the psionics were killed off. The landscape of the world were irrevocably altered forcing the Gods the seal off more of the weave of magic permanent sealing the Gods in The Sacred expanse. This would in turn create the current laws of Magic
