Don't Leave your rooms!

The PCs stay at an Inn that's fallen on hard times. The owner begs for their help. She explains that someone has been murdering her guests. She says that every night she warns her guests not to leave their rooms, but every morning she finds another dead guest, without a mark on them lying in the hall.

Plot points/Scenes

An older tiefling woman named Jazeleda will ask the party to help her deal with this problem. She doesn't have much to pay them but she is growing desperate and the guards are threatening to arrest her for the crime!   If the party investigates any of the unused rooms they can find an old journal in one of the rooms. Looking over the journal will reveal that it's very old(50 years.) and that the woman writing in it was growing increasingly concerned that she was being stalked in the night. Once the party finds the journal the attacks will grow more frequently nearly every night. If the party goes about researching the owner of the journal, a half-elf named Niana who went missing over 40 years ago. If the party decides to check throughout the inn they will find that there is a skeleton under the ground if they free her they will be attacked by a banshee afterward they will be able to lay her to rest.
