The Ascension of Urza the Orange

Before he ascended, Urza was the mortal apprentice and champion of Yaro the Wandering Star. An accomplished and prodigal magician, he was both the first male Priest of Yhera and a founding member of the first order of Wizards. Blessed with foresight and possessed of a keen mind, Urza was often involved in the quest for knowledge and the uncovering of secrets that would protect the People of the Blood and the Pantheon itself. Leading a fellowship of Champions of the Veiled Sun, the Morning and Evening Stars, as well as the Goddess of the Moon, Urza was able to understand the nature of Irré's Curse.   It was this discovery that brought about the end of the First Landfall. Soon after Urza enacted his plan, the seemingly endless stream of Motherless invaders dwindled and finally stopped. Not long afterwards, the Concordance would destroy the last of Vadrik's spawn. From now on, Landfall would occur only sporadically and without the extinction-level threat that the first had posed.   For his toil and his bravery, Urza would be the first to ascend to immortality as a demigod. He would become Urza the Orange, Demigod of Artifice, Alchemy and Scribing.
