Yulandor

The gathered Infinite Ones stood solemnly. Everyone except Orvic, and of course, Yulandor, was in attendance. Orvic had been barred from stepping foot near the Material Plane for his transgression: the complete destruction of a fellow Infinite One. Yulandor. His death had shattered their world; no longer could they consider themselves completely immortal. Yulandor, while still existing in fragments, could hardly be considered "alive".   In the center of the circle of gods lay the charred remains of Yulandor's helm, chest-plate, sword, and shield. The items sat in a neat, shrine like pile.   "Yulandor's passing marks a new age" Iriall said at last, nervously. His grey-gold energy radiated around him as he spoke. The other Infinite Ones' stood in a circle, and their spectral forms, often used for visits to the Material Plane, flickered.   Everyone present shifted a bit. Lord Sivoran gripped his weapon as he stared at the unflinching Zehk, who stood silently like a shadow across the way.   "His death can bring us together. Its proof we can harm not only the things around us, but each other, too." Iriall continued.   "So let us honor his name, and end this war, so that we can become brothers and sisters once more" Iriall finished.   The area fell silent. Slowly, Zehk drew his weapon. Lorkaam followed suit, and Sivoran did the same. Soon, everyone had joined, weapons drawn.   "Put down your arms, brothers and sisters!" Iriall pleaded. But, no one payed him any heed. The Infinite Ones devolved once more into fighting, and one could hear the clashes of weapons.   -Excerpt from, "The First War"   Yulandor was the Infinite One of Justice and Honor. He is best known, ironically, given his title as an "Infinite One", for his destruction. During the first war, the Infinite One eagerly joined the side of the loyalists, seeking to reunify the fragmenting Pantheon of Kings.   He lead many campaigns over the years, but would eventually be destroyed by Orvic. The specifcs of the battle are hazy, although it is understood that Orvic managed to focus his power at Yulandor's weakened physical form, and destroyed it entirely. This in itself is not unusual, as Infinite Ones best one another in combat by successfully destroying physical manifestations, but for Yulandor, it fragmented his entire being.   His death shook his peers, spreading fear among them, and lead to the near complete alienation of Orvic by almost all of his peers.
