Aresa

Aresa, centerpiece of the material plane, is the core of thousands of years of conflict. Aresa is the setting for all of the Aresa games, as well as the associated 'short stories'.   No one knows what drives life, but the mystery is nonetheless worth putting effort into solving. Even gods cannot comprehend what drives their creations, and their plots are but sophisticated schemes of understanding. Perhaps it is meant to be, that mysteries remain. True knowledge of all is a terrible burden, but mortals still yet seek it. Are the consequences too abstract to be understood, or is the allure simply overwhelming?   The Infinite Ones are bound to their Astral Planes, yet they still influence the material plane in tangible ways. Some mortals, primarily self centered humans, seek to end this meddling, and have set out into the far reaches of the world to destroy the last vestiges of the presence of these god-like beings. The mysterious continent of Fellak is a place of unimaginable power, but no one has been able to harness it but the Infinite Ones - until now.
