Michael's Report, 2023-02-05
General Summary
We started off with some small errands in town, and some extended planning for a sneak attack against Qisdinaru in the Zonthosh lair. Djhim was sent on his way with Xev's ring, containing four kegs of smoke powder (not five, because we forgot to load the fifth into the ring). He is also carrying the Stone of Infernal Dreams. This attack has not yet been played out.
Meanwhile, the party set out into the wilderness to find Eletha Erharice. When we started to get close, it was revealed that Wash was able to hear the voice of the goddess Beshaba as she spoke to her follower Erharice.
When we reached the druid, unsurprisingly, violence ensued, and it was further revealed that Wash could tap into Beshaba's power to bring misfortune and bad luck upon her enemies. Wash actually managed to commune with Beshaba, and we learned that part of the goddess' power has imprinted upon Wash, and Wash needs to die for that power to be returned to her. If the trickster goddess is to be believed, the gods of Arenia are no longer receiving power from the worship and prayer of their mortal followers, and without that flow of power to sustain her, she is especially eager to see all of her power returned to herself.
We managed to kinda-sorta win the through the power of Hypnotic Pattern. Eletha is down, but one of her wolves and the two awakened trees will only remain incapacitated by the spell for another half minute, so we decided to take the druid and flee towards her camp.
It is now about 3PM on Moon Day, 14th of Reaping. We have taken the body of Eletha Erharice, though I did not take good enough notes to remember if it's a corpose, or if she's knocked unconscious.

Says that Wash has a portion of her power imprinted on her, and that when Wash dies it goes back to Beshaba
Says that the power of prayer and beliefs to empower gods hasn't been working
