The aasimar wizard, Enreyla, along with her goliath companion Namagh, hired a contingent of mercenaries including Vathash Kerak vas Rannock to escort them on a secret quest into the mountains to the east of the Empire of Vudon. The powerful spellcaster carried an aura of majesty and mystery, and shared no details of their ultimate goal with their mercenary companions.
She fell in battle with a drow sorceress when the group was attacked in the night by a war party of orc and drow. Her body was taken to a temple of Selûne, which was said to be their destination after their task was done.
Whatever the truth of their quest, it was a failure.
