Disaster / Destruction
No longer finding a worthy opponent from the Üth Empire, the Ashmen sail much further and invade the much wealthier Bracciano Sea
With the fall of the Üth Empire, the Ascomanni find themselves lacking any powerful enemies. They quickly became tired of raiding the remnants of the empire, and meeting virtually no resistance, along with virtually no plunder. So instead, the warriors gathered a massive fleet of dragonborn ships and sailed them around the eastern end of Ardunor. It was an incredibly long and taxing journey, but well worth it in the end. The Ashmen laid waste to the city-states and smaller nations along the Bracciano Sea. The trade that had made these cities so successful also proved to be valuable plunder for the barbarians. The Ascomanni sailed back to their southern homelands, their thirst for blood satiated and their ships loaded with valuables. Though the people of the Bracciano Sea were beaten bloody, they realized they had to quickly rebuild, and try something new in order ot prevent attacks of this nature again. Thus began the discussions that would eventually form The Braccian League.
