Mage's Lyceum

Cities within The Braccian League typically have at least one lyceum. These are typically campuses that are very similar to a college or university, but there is often no organizational structure, and the only students are those of the arcane arts. Any mage or would be spell caster is free to enter the lyceum and make use of its libraries, scrolls, alchemical tools, and more. The understanding is that those who take advantage of the lyceum's resources also add their own discoveries, scrolls, and excess tools whenever they can. If the mages at a lyceum start noticing someone taking more than they are giving, they will typically start playing magical tricks on the person, such as creating illusionary walls that used to lead to the library, in an attempt to drive them from the lyceum. Due to the cultures surrounding each lyceum, they often draw a specific type of magical study to their grounds. For example, Castellana's tradition revolving around how they view their deceased has lead the Castellana Lyceum to focus on necromancy.
