Sheep

A livestock animal found throughout Kynaj, especially the North and East.
Sheep are widely believed to have originated around the Talashi Sea, already domesticated by the Talash Tai by the time the Orckid Conquest began. As with other common breeds of livestock, the Orckid Empire spread sheep all throughout the north and east of Kynaj.
Sheep are thought to have entered the Four Great Satari Kingdoms via the Mhyrychas Desert, through nomadic trade between far West Orckid and western Yena. This proliferation in Yena (and to a lesser extent the three other Great Kingdoms) would bring them across the sea to the Batsalian Union, while the eventual trade between West Orckid and the Bitter Isles would bring them west into Northern Olveiria as well.
