Satar the All-Mother

Supreme deity of the world's most powerful faith

The supreme deity of the most popular religion in the world, Satar is a god who, according to the Satari faith, walked the earth in mortal form several times before her murder near the Cickatrice Tail Peninsula. On her last visit to the mortal world, Satar was supposedly gathering the faithful to take them across the sea to her Eternal Empire. Some have argued that this was an indictment of the Holy Zaljan Empire, which had been founded around two centuries before.   Satar gathered several great disciples to her. These disciples bore names associated with the Holy Mothers of the Old Yenai Faith: Hai Mitra, Ilwa Nuq, Filon, Liliq, Vequa, and the like. Some argue the Old Yenai Faith developed into Satariai over time, and the other Mothers that reigned beneath Satar were changed to the disciples serving Satar's mortal form. Others argue the disciples simply named themselves after the Holy Mothers. Still others will claim that the Holy Mothers are a recent invention, a misinterpretation of Satar's Disciples. Still others will claim that the dozens of gods from the Old Yenai Faith are all different facets of Satar.   Satar is symbolized by the Satari Triangle: three lines descending at angles from a single point. These three lines represent Satar's Sunlight, Her Rain, and Her Lightning: Her Guidance, Her Plenty, and Her Justice.
