Third daughter and sixth child to Princess Allad Ainros and Princess Fianna'al Ainros.
Amilia was born two years before the death of her father, from which her mother never truly recovered. Genev the Terrible writes that Amilia's true parents were her older sister Hwel'Unai and the Wizard Heather Snowfall. When Hwel'Unai was taken to Atford to wed Darvad Ruthwell, Amilia became extremely withdrawn, often going days at a time without speaking. Only Heather Snowfall was able to get the child to open up. Many assumed Amilia might become a speller, and indeed she did study some of the art, but her life was altered forever at the age of thirteen, when her mother joined her father in the afterlife.
With no guardian, and not yet betrothed, Amilia convinced Heather Snowfall to prevail upon the King, that she might be allowed to join her sister Hwel'Unai in Atford. It would turn out that her sister had converted to the Satariai faith not long after her marriage, and would succeed in converting Amilia before her majority. Amilia would become a priestess of Satar and spend her life wandering the Peninsula, converting others.
