Personal history
Oryu was one of the many dragons birthed from the ever-expanding dragon which holds the universe, Nak and Nam. Oryu was not actually a god of the Earth, but rather the god of planets and planetary bodies and witnessed the millions of years it took to create our universe. One day Oryu was flying towards our Solar System just as the dinosaurs still existed but was attacked by a Demon embodying a Blue Giant, who he later would call Kařařaso (Blue Big Star). While he won he was also knocked down to earth, covering himself in a shell of earth and killing of the dinosaurs.
Oryu had fallen asleep for a long while for the humans to advance, but when he woke up he found himself in a very Early China. He had of course been feared but soon was seen as a blessing of the earth, soon becoming a symbol of the Emperor themselves. Oryu however had picked interests with some other countries, Mongolia, Korea and Japan, where he was introduced to the beasts. Seiryu/Soriu was from an Eastern star and Byakko/Diako from the Western Star, Genbu/Gondu from a regular human achieving enlightenment by cleaning his guts and intestines of human food and Suzaku/Suzhaku from a regular Hōō wishing to become a constellation. Together they created the The Archipelago of Seasons as a haven for the beasts.
