Sitasog-ko Oriu-wei
Purpose / Function
Marks the date of Festivals of each Island.
Architecture
A Tall lighthouse, though it looks more like a pagoda. Of course, like being a pagoda it has its connection with the 5 elements. The base of the Pagoda is a representation of the earth, and so is the base and much taller than the rest. Above that is Metal, which comes from the earth and so is the reason it is above the Earth. Next is Water, which is contained within metal easily. Then there is wood, which is sustained by water so it may live. Finally, there is fire, which wood helps fuel. The light which shines to mark the festivals is a representation of void, not classified as an element but important to the balance of beast, animals and humans.
The lighthouse is made out of basalt bricks made from the basalt columns artificially formed by Oryu/Oriu when he created the Island. In the middle of the bricks where the cement is and in the cracks is pure gold.
