Wolven Valley
Between tall and ancient redwoods and golden hills, rays of light give sight to a lush, beautiful and untouched wilderness. But at night, something sinister sneaks out of it's hollow and lurks, and not all of them are simple Wolves. Would you dare delve the valley to uncover it's ancient and mythical secrets?
Geography
Covered by mist and mountain's, the Wolven Valley, home to the Dark Elven House of Wolves stand out from the rest of the empire as the most disconnected part. This developement has it's roots within the mountainrange, that block the valley out from the rest of the Common lands, with harsh and dangerous mountainpasses that carry several large steep falls and risk of rockslides.
However, the large wall of stone serve to protect an ancient land of beauty. From the northern shore, the sun protudes into the valley and shimmers out to cover it all in a radiant light. This phenomen turns the middle of the valley lighter, with golden terrain of rolling hills, that darken the further they come towards the edges, thus furthering the dangers of the mountains, from their sprawling, monsterfilled cavesystems, to the very tips, as they grow cold and dark. But this is not all negative, as they have kept away defilers from a lush and unique nature.
Fauna & Flora
Massive redwoods dominate thevalley, from the golden hills and it's fresh purespring's to it's dark and decietful corners, filled with lurking predators that leave no mark on the grass-less and rock scattered earth. Instead, disturbed flowers, mosses and bushes carrying all kinds of colour tell the tales of how popular the valley is within the animal kingdom.
From the smallest lizards and critters, to massive bears, elk and even unicorns, the mythical creatures bound to the myst have made their home within the dark redwood forests as they hold food, water, plenty of hiding places and mystical shroom's that channel their powers. But not even these ancient and deadly creaures find themselves close to the top of the foodchain, as there is one more that prowl the darkness of night. Creatures with humanlike bodies and mind, yet with feral fangs and claws.
Taurus run wild at night, hunting anything that they can eat, be it animals, humanoids and in some rare cases even nature's growth itself. These creatures, primarely lyncanthropes seem to live on the mountain's and strangely seem to prey on the nearby human villages utside of the valley, rather than the Dark-Elven city by the valley's shore.
Natural Resources
It might look as strange at first, that a big city with several villages surrounding it, takes no care to harvest the many raw resources that the valley hides. Rare materials and minerals, along with animals, wood and undiscovered or poorly researched plants are barely even touched only the closest parts of mountains and forests, right next to Wolvesglade are used only to the extent of absolute survival.
The trees processed are even grown by the local populace and the fields themselves are squeezed into terrace farms, built out of the old quarries, leaving the nearby lands free to raise animals on instead. Infact this is what the main income for the local inhabitants come from. Raising and training creatures like unicorns and pegasi.

"I feel weird, uncanny, is if something was watching my every move. I have come here to the Wolven Valley as a diplomat, aiming to strike a peace deal with the Wolf. Thus, my mission is too important to turn back on. It's been two days since we came to this acursed place, and one day since we saw Johnsson or Crowley. They say the two scouts will return, but I doubt it. I heard the howls last night, they were not the howls of wolves. There is something else stalking this old valley. Something unnatural and sinister. Ysand, may you guide us as we continue our journey, and may the scouts return to us safe and sound."

We can see the end of the woods now, but the journey have been foul. It was four days ago since we lost the two scouts, and two days ago we lost McRodeny, but we have finally found something. Five Taurus, lycan to be precise attacked this morning. They got five of the troops during the initial assault, but were swiftly fended of by the two crusaders. On the larger one, that seemed to lead the others, the Captain made a find. A dogtag with the name Christoffer A. Johnsson. It had pristine condition, no blood, no dent, no trace of having been removed, but on the body of the lycan packleader. A pidgeon has been sent out to Bjyrnsta. A boat shall pick us up by the Dark Elven docks. There is no room for politics with this deathtrap they sent us to go trough, rather we shall leave for the north and take a detour to Wyldburg. The High-Inquisitor needs to know.
