History

The first two gods, Aldra and Harptos, were engaged in an unending war. They battled eachother across time until they forgot the reason they were fighting. In that split second of peace while they tried to think back, a flash of light permeated the expanse they called home. They unknowingly used their abilities to create the goddess called Mystraa, and began to wonder what else they were capable of. Slowly but surely, the Old Gods and Monstrous Lords came into being, as Aldra and Harptos created others like them, each with different minds and ideologies.
Eventually, fighting broke out again. Years of ruthless battle, started by Mystraa's husband: Solyr. After a time of war, Mystraa, Ligrutio, Glamogz, and Malkar convinced Aldra and Harptos to create a peace treaty. The gods stopped their battle to create a world, which was to be shared between their peoples: Arcanum.
