Arcanum

During an eternal war, one single moment of peace was the key to creation. The Old gods made a treaty, in the form of a world. The world Arcanum.   Mortals and gods lived along side each other. Empires were built, wars were waged, and unlikely heroes would find themselves taken by the gods to be powerful wielders of divine magic. Heralds.   All was well. Until the day the war deity, Solyr, started a war with the gods. Arcanum shook with the death of its Heralds, Empires, and goddess of magic, Mystraa.   One and a half thousand years after this calamity, the new gods cannot touch Arcanum, the Heralds weapons scatter the realm, and a small group of adventurers gather to change this world altogether.
