Ascension Rite

The members of The Clawed Circle underwent this rite for their order to attain stronger magical power. 
Unlike the Chrysalis ritual, there is no legend that is tied with the creation of the Ascension Rite. All that is known is that after the rite, the members of the Thaumaturgists were able to shift into a large, bestial form that looks similar to dragons. The only noticeable difference of talking with a member of the Clawed Circle is to look for their odd, brightly colored eyes and body markings.

Effect

The ritual would boost the members powers to what many would deem an unfathomable degree.

Side/Secondary Effects

No records of negative side effects such as long-lasting ailments were recorded, or said records didn't survive. The most common would be a sense of lethargy or nausea that would go away after rest and medicine. The only surviving notes state that the bestial transformation would last in their original forms. Their bodies would have various stylized markings, the horns of their bestial forms would still remain though smaller in size to scale with their bodies, their canines would remain sharper than the average person.
