The Kingdom of Crendameth
Crendameth, or, more formally, the Kingdom of Crendameth, is a country located in the bulk of the continent of Ar'Nuhûn, spanning the majority of its surface area. It borders the b]Amber Sea[/b is also its largest settlement, as well as being the second largest land-based city in the world and the fourth largest city overall. Other important cities include Nova Cerulis, Westerfall and Blyhtewood.
The country's geography is varied, containing most things ranging from mountain ranges to plains, from tundra-like environments in the north to expansive deserts in the south. Administratively, the Kingdom is divided into fourteen duchies and one grand duchy, the latter being the seat of power.
The country's roots extend back into what is now called The Age of the Map, approximately 1500 years before Elmeyon Crendameth's Rebellion, wherein settlers from distant lands arrived on the shores of the then-undiscovered land. Upon discovering the existence of other parties nearby, conflicts arose in regards to the distribution of land, resources and food. After more than two centuries of constant fighting, a pact was made by the tribes of humans, orcs, elves and dwarfs to put an end to the bloodshed. As a sign of respect to the tribe of the Men of the South and their leader, Andor of Cren, the pact included a clause to make him the ruler of this newly established, cooperative country, naming him King of all Here Present or Otherwise.
