William Harold Adley
Prince William Harold (after the first three kings of Arburg) Adley (a.k.a. Will)
He is the crown prince; soon to ascend to the throne. He is 21 years old, and isn't really sure about taking over the responsibility of a whole kingdom. He has a little sister (Maisie Olivia), and a mentor (Gerhard Sedgeewe), as well as his two parents, the King Ronan and Queen Neva of Arburg.
William takes a deep breath and steps onto the stage, a big smile on his face. The crowd immediately erupts into a deafening aupplause. Girls scream his name, babies cry in shock of the sudden outburst of noise, young men roll their eyes at their hysterical girlfriends and older civilians clap politely. The noise and commotion would be overwhelming, had Will not been trained how to react. He just smiles, waves, winks at the girls coos and the babies, high-fives the kids, and makes his way across the stage. Once he reaches the podium, the audience grows quite, a sense of anticipation hanging in the air.
"People of Lochines, thank you all for coming here today!" he begins, just like in the five other towns that he has spoken at so far. He then proceeds to give the standard speech explaining the upcoming marriage and coronation, the well-rehearsed words flowing out like honey. After the speech, he takes a bow and walks the length of the stage, doing the same actions before. Even after he is off, he can still hear the thunder of the crowd, and a group of girls chanting his name.
"Well done, William," his father greets him, "the words were all good, but make sure to project more next time. Do remember that you are speaking in the open air. Now, the next place on your itinerary is... let me see," he studies a piece of paper in his hands, "ah yes, here it is: Rosepass. Remember what I said, now!" He walks away.
William sighs and takes a seat on the chair offered to him. That would be his father: practical, straight to the point, and no time or energy for emotions. One can trust him to be frank.
