Arborian Starlight

Few will ever taste the succulent nectar that is Arborian Starlight, a wine so valuable that only a few bottles are made a year by The Arborian Revelers and those few bottles are provided for the exclusive use of The Order of the Fallen Leaves. The wine is supposedly one of the best and most delicious creations in all of Arbor and many in high circles would give anything to own a bottle. It carries with it a prestige that is hard to match and while technically illegal to even be in possession of such a treasure this has not nor will it stop the very richest in Arbor from making an attempt at claiming such a bottle for themselves. In fact it is rumored that the wine possesses fantastical magical properties bestowing magic to those who have none and expanding already considerable magical skill to new heights.

Appearance

Arborian Starlight is a deep, rich red wine with a distinct aesthetic. History

Arborian Starlight has a long history of being made by the Revelers, it's specific reason for being made though is to allow the revelers to exist at all. During the Reconciliation it was a gift of two bottles of Arborian Starlight that kept the Revelers from either being wiped out by the Order or subsumed by them. Arguing that the wine and it's recipes would be lost should either occur. At the time the Order felt that the monks were harmless and they did not need to deal with them and turned their attentions elsewhere. Now the wine is provided on a yearly basis 2 bottles a year as that is all that can be produced in such a time to the Order to continue the arrangement set forth thousands of years ago.

Creation

The process of creating Arborian Starlight is shrouded in mystery and is known only to a select few members of the Arborian Revelers. It is said that the wine is created using a unique and incredibly esoteric mystical process that involves harnessing the power of the stars and the magic of the Star Rose.
The first step in the process is to harvest the Star Rose flowers at the exact moment when they are in full bloom, under the light of a full moon. The flowers are said to be at their most powerful during this time and are believed to contain a unique energy that is essential for the creation of the wine.
Once the flowers have been harvested, they are carefully crushed and distilled in a specially designed alchemical still. The distillation process is said to take several days and requires precise timing and the use of specific incantations and rituals to ensure that the maximum amount of energy from the flowers is captured.
Once the distillation process is complete, the liquid is aged in oak barrels for several years, during which time it is said to absorb the energy of the stars and the magic of the flowers. The barrels are kept in a secret chamber deep within the Arborian Revelers' stronghold, where they are exposed to the light of the stars through a skylight.
Finally, the wine is bottled and sealed with wax bearing the emblem of the Arborian Revelers. The bottles are then stored in a specially designed cellar, where they are said to continue to mature and absorb the energy of the stars.
It is said that only a select few members of the Arborian Revelers possess the knowledge and skill required to create Arborian Starlight, and that the process is passed down through generations, with each new generation adding their own unique twist to the recipe, this is why there are only a few bottles made a year and why the wine is so valuable and exclusive.
It is also said that during the process of creating the wine, certain spells and incantations are said to be cast over the ingredients and the wine itself adding to the mystical properties of the drink.

Components

The main component is Arborian Star light is a single Star Rose per bottle, it should be noted that a single Star Rose is both one of the rarest items that exist on the tree and one of the most valuable. As for the additional ingredients no one is really sure what goes into them and it is a closely guarded secret.

Capabilities

For those that have had the Arborian Starlight they say it is a drink like no other and after having consumed it they feel energised in a way that is difficult to describe. So few have had the opportunity though that it's actual effects have never been carefully studied.
