Gloomwald

The continent of Gloomwald is an expansive, twilight-shrouded land characterized by its perpetual mist and rugged terrain. Dominated by the imposing Shadowspire Mountains and the ancient, dense canopy of the Nightfall Woods, Gloomwald is enveloped in a thick fog that rarely lifts. The climate is consistently damp and cool, with frequent drizzles nourishing a rich understory of flora such as the ghostly Moonfern and the tenacious Shadowthorn vines, both of which thrive in the low light and high moisture of the region. The landscape of Gloomwald is both enchanting and eerie, with moss-covered ground and towering trees that create a hauntingly beautiful yet isolating environment. The coasts are rocky and steep, lashed by the dark, relentless waves of the Ocean of Sorrows. This ocean is notorious for its choppy waters, thick fog, and sudden storms, making navigation perilous and often trapping ships within its grip for days.   Inhabitants of Gloomwald live in isolated enclaves, their societies shaped by the land's mysterious and foreboding nature. The flora and fauna are uniquely adapted to the continent's eternal twilight, fostering a biodiversity that is as resilient as it is otherworldly. Despite its haunting beauty, Gloomwald remains a place of mystery and solitude, where the shadows of the past and the pervasive fog create an ever-present sense of unease.
