Dux Animales

Traversing the various roads and districts of Gun Diathan can, at times, be quite dangerous, both to newcomers and residents alike. Lubrix Aren Dante came up with a solution: The Dux Animales. These are a wide variety of animals: ranging from a variety of dogs and cats, to birds, foxes, and even a number of horses and oxen. All a user needs to do is find the various handlers throughout the city and, for the cost of a few coppers, they will summon an animal and will guide them throughout the city in a path that, while perhaps not the most direct, guarantees the safety of their wards. No one is totally sure where the animals appear from, nor does anyone know where they rest between shifts. Their introduction throughout Gun Diathan has been one of Lubrix Aren Dante's major undertakings during is time as a member of The Servus Populerate, with their use having finally been adopted and added to all parts of the city within the last year.
