Armena Hawke
Mother Armena Joan Hawke (a.k.a. Mother Armonie)
Armena Hawke, more commonly known as Mother Armonie, is the current leader of the Loving Hearts in Lorla and the Wilderness. She is married to Father Sirius, a featherfolk pharmacist and healer, who assists her in all her endeavours. Being in a relationship that is between races and species, she is an advocate for relationships and families that exceed societal expectations. She fights for racial equality and acceptance, helps couples that are ostracised, abandoned, banished and attacked due to their love and offers them a place in her cult which will become their new social circle.
Mother Armonie is known for her kindness and persistence and is not only seen as a leader but a family member. Those who dare to cross her face her rage. Armena is an adapt staff wielder and mage, making her one of the greatest defenders and protectors of her cult.
Father Sirius completes her working as an accoucher and healer for their community.
While Armena's beliefs are strong and unbending, she enjoys discussions with critics and newcomers. She's open to any form of discourse and spends time with her cult members and fellow Lorlans educating them and sharing stories.
Her strong marriage and overcoming the difficulties of the past have created a strong and independent woman who admires her patrons and aspires to be the best she can be for Lorla and her people.
Armena and Sirius have a family of four. Their daughter Genie is a beautiful featherfolk maiden that is very smart and creative; she's 21. Lûk, a mixedfolk boy that is quite dexterous and soft-spoken, is 17 years old. Genie has finished her academic career and is engaged to a human her age, while Lûk is still studying and residing at the Cathedral of Lorla. Armena and Sirius are currently looking for a suitable mate for him, even though they hope that he will find a person on his own.
After all, the cult prefers love at first sight or love following friendship. Even though their cult is known for their interracial and inter-species relationships, they think that the long-lasting love is the more important aspect of their work than the mixed-race/mixed-species idea. Therefore, they allow everyone to join their cult that is happily married or in a long-lasting relationship.

Personal history
Armena Levine was born as the child of two common human farmers at the outskirts of Corcovah. She lived a pretty sheltered, simple life and knew little about the world beyond the borders of her home town. When she stumbled upon a makeshift chapel at the entrance of Lemdaux, she learned about the fate of The Lovers and was immediately charmed by it. As a pretty romantic and positive girl, she enjoyed the idea of spreading love everywhere she goes and helping those in need. She never understood the prejudice and horrible rumours and attacks against people who think and express their love differently and when she met Mother Cassandra while reading through The Lovers' speeches, she met the Loving Hearts cult for the first time.
Mother Cassandra quickly introduced her to her religious community and she made friends with many of them. One of the couples invited her to visit the Masquerade of Madness with them, deep in the heart of the Wilderness. Against her parents' will, she joined them in the dark of the night, dressed in a sage green gown. Wearing a white-grey mask that reminded of a moth's wings, she attended the festivities and encountered a gentle being with feathery arms and a warm voice. They danced the night away and quickly fell in love, deciding to meet again the next day.
When she met her beloved the next morning, right at Lemdaux's border, she realised that her lover wasn't a human but a featherman and even though she didn't care much about his race, she doubted that her parents would accept him.
Unfortunately, she was right. When she introduced Sirius to her parents, they refused to acknowledge him as her partner and told her to 'get rid of the fowl', before they would do so. Disappointed by their reaction, she left Corcovah the same day and joined the Loving Hearts cult. Sirius and Armena got married shortly after and she took on Mother Cassandra's role when she became 40 years old, one year after giving birth to her second child.
