Aeva
High above the continent of Aradeia, hidden by a thick layer of clouds, floats the divine realm of Aeva. Founded by the first Creator that ever lived, it's a place of wonder and prosperity. It is the home of all divine beings, including its name-giver Aeva Prithalis who is now worshipped as the highest deity of them all.
The Council of Aeva determines Aeva's laws and culture as well as Aradeia's safety and harmony. Thirteen selected council members discuss everyday and future matters and define their citizens' and Aradeia's everyday lives.
Geography
Luscious green hills, breathtaking mountains and wide, vivid fields with healthy cattle and small farms surrounded by thick, fluffy clouds build the border to Aradeia's heavenly neighbour. Aeva is known for their excellent food and drink, all thanks to their fertile land and well-kept vineyards. Rivers and lakes snake through the countryside and the city itself, offering freshwater to the people living close to it. Many of the springs can be found in the highest mountain of them all, with aqueducts leading the water into the city centre.
As you move closer to the centre, the streets are paved in white stone with neoclassical buildings next to them, reminding one of the ancient ruins of human history. The buildings are sturdy and built with thick walls to prevent them from being conquered easily and they are surrounded by parks and century-old trees that purify the air around them. A thick, misty forest surrounds the highest mountain and grants protection to animals closeby. It harbors wild vegetables and fruit that can be harvested. It's bright outside for most of the time; days are longer than nights, resulting in a fulfilling and easy-going life for everyone.
Climate
Nine days out of ten, it's sunny and bright without being overwhelmingly hot, thanks to a divine filter surrounding the area. At the tenth day, an appropriate amount of rain is released to the fields and the forest to keep them intact and healthy. During Aradeia's winter, alchemists and mages in Aeva join forces to summon snow and create a winter wonderland, loved by many. Otherwise, you can expect warmth that doesn't make you sweat and a breeze that dances around the tip of your nose.
Natural Resources
Wood, stone, fruits, vegetables, meats, fiber, wool, metals of all kinds... You will be able to find them whenever you need them over here. A special effect of Aeva being a magical realm is that you do not have to fear that you might harm the elven or dwarven interests by accessing wood and stone there. Aeva is not connected to the arcane core, making it entirely independent and self-sufficient.
Tourism
There is no tourism in Aeva, at least none that people would talk about. The few mortals who have seen Aeva and are still alive have been under Aevan surveillance for a while, either due to their impressive deeds or due to them being close to death.
Near-death experiences are the only opportunity to see Aeva while still being alive and only those returning to the mortal realm can share their experiences with their loved ones.
