General Summary

Exploring the Keep

  • at the Wizard's Keep (Mike send the pic) - first leve exploring quickly - no 'connection' to basement/root cellar
  • Gareth lived upstairs
  • Red Brands used basement to keep it looking abandoned
  • 2nd story. workshop - 20gp of tiny jewels and random OLD spell bits
  • town grew up around the keep
  • Library - Not much here. if reburbish would be good desk
  • Quick hidy spots - nothing secret this level
  • third level - pillars - gazeebo-ish. 7 pillars. HARD to do.
  • Cernan looking: b/t pillars opening ringed by golden light. He's the only one to see it. Like when he first met Arabeth.
  • wear pattern on inside of circle is different - newer. Less wear very strange
  • not a defensable thing
  • Runes under the wood of the arches. ANCIENT runes. We can't read them.
  • try to put it back magically - wood falls off the runes look amazing. Not sensing active magic.
  • covering it and tying wood back to pillar
  • Cernan prays at the arch/pillar. tastes metal. there's a key required. Can see key then gone.

    Trap for Seran

  • we setup the trap with Cita hiding with a net in the cave to the sea and the rest of us hiding in the cavern. (We pitoned the doors shut.)
  • 4 came through in a procession
  • Simon: the banner bearer (spared)
  • Sherry: the bard and puppeteer (killed)
  • Sir Clark: zombie (WAS the judge knight, but Seran killed him and changed him into a zombie) (killed)
  • Seran: icky mage (might be necromancer) (killed
  • A 5th entered the cavern
  • The Asp: rogue assassin (killed)
  •   Cernan is the ONLY follower of Arabeth right now, Seran said this and that this was Arabeths' last chance.

     

    Post Battle

  • talked with Lieutenant Garris - Captain Borland and his cohort are missing
  • we share our best guess that the Asp killed the mayor
  • Seran was building a temple outside of town.
  • destroyed the temple foundation
  • Cernan talked with Lt. Garris about ara and Garris believes. . Stormy is intrigued.

  • Arabeth needs more followers
  • Capt. Borland and cohort look suspicious
  • We have a keep to fix up

  • We have a tower rune magic puzzle (Stormy will need this for her soon to be Drake Companion)
  • Thunder Tree (town) - In side the shop is an emerald necklace
  • Cragma Castle - Goblins have taken over and locals want us to take it back.
  • Tidy up loose ends in New Haran.
  • Wave Echo Cave (We don't know where it is)
