Zephyrion
A world of endless skies and floating islands, where the air is imbued with magic. Zephyrion, the Aerial realm: Zephyrion is a world suspended in the vast expanse of the elemental plane of air. Its surface is covered by enormous, floating landmasses called Skylands, each with its unique ecosystems, cultures, and mysteries.
The heart of Zephyrion is its connection to elemental air magic. The entire planet is influenced by powerful currents of magical winds. Many Creatures native to Zephyrion have adapted to harness these winds for flight or other abilities.
Skylands of all shapes and sizes drift through the skies, from lush jungles to arid deserts. These islands are home to diverse communities of aerial races, from winged elves to air genasi. Some Skylands are nomadic, while others are tethered to the firmament by massive magical chains.
Zephyrion is inhabited by a menagerie of elemental creatures, such as air elementals, storm drakes, and cloud serpents.
Localized Phenomena
Ethereal Anomalies: Occasionally, rifts to the Ethereal Plane open, causing strange and magical phenomena. These anomalies can be both a source of great power and great danger.
