Parasitic Slime

A few Atlantean scientists were studying the technophage nanotechnology and found a way to alter it. They created a slug-like “creature” that is covered in slime, as an experiment they programmed it, then implanted it in someone. After the operation, many of the slaves were able to be controlled by the slug.

The implants’ programming travels into the brain and settles in the gap between the two hemispheres. From there it is able to override the person’s personality and control it from the background.
