Gravyn was born in Jipbon, Northwest Providence, continent Gregor, the planet of Avalon. Luckily while in the creche, he was marked for his genius. He was trained to eventually enter the bio-tech labs and help society. Other skills he has is spaceship engineering, creating ship powerplants, and artificial gravity generators.
He is known for combining organic and mechanical systems; and has created many new biotech inventions useful to society. Some include--solar sails, self-repairing bacterial cellulose matrix (for skin suit), bio-organic AIs, synthetic beings, biodrones, ramscoops, solar sails, shield generators, oxygen filters/scrubbers, created sable neural connection with ship-wide bio-organic systems.
He created his own company called Nexus Bioforge Corporation. Married an AI researcher DR. Aria Zhang; they communicate mostly through neural interfaces that they collaborated on. Regularly performs self-experimentation with his own inventions.
Practices meditation with VR enhancement. He lost his left arm in a lab accident; he replaced it with a self-designed bio-organic prosthetic. 
Gavyn is known for boundless curiosity and commitment to ecological preservation. He revels in mentoring the next generation of inventors.
