Squial
Squial is an Elder God, commonly associated with The Great Old Ones. Squial is the embodiment of inevitability, the enforcer of cosmic law. His essence is described as a vast, intricate mechanism of interlocking gears and shifting plates, each grinding with a sound that echoes through the void. He is neither cruel nor kind, but a relentless force that ensures the universe adheres to its predetermined path. Some scholars speculate that Squial created the concept of time itself, binding chaos into order. Those who invoke his name seek stability, but his gifts often come with a terrible price: the loss of freedom. His disappearance left the universe’s clockwork in disrepair, allowing cracks in reality to form. He is said to be the ultimate enemy of K'Niff.
Artifacts
Many artifacts of the Great Old Ones were destroyed during the God Severment. However, the Sword of Answering lingers on, split into nine pieces, with each containing the essence of one of the long dead Great Old Ones. The blade Concluder is said to contain the essence of Squial.
