Rite of Fogmeadow
The Rite of Fogmeadow is a ritualistic process used to plead an audience with Cthothlast, Travesty of Forbidden Knowledge. Pioneered by Horton Fogmeadow, the ritual involves the playing of a forbidden tune on a woodwind instrument, carved using the still living flesh of a Treant.
History
The Rite was first noted in the myth "The Curse of Horton Fogmeadow" in which the Bard uses the Rite to summon Cthothlast, in order to create The Nine Lost Symphonies of Horton Fogmeadow.
