Red Dragons are a form of Dragon. They are known for their red scales and fiery breath.
The Heartfire Rituals, conducted by the Crimson Rage, are said to be able to ascend from mortals into a Red Dragon by consuming a Red Dragon's heart. While this has been confirmed to create Red Dragonborn, its success in creating a Red Dragon has not been verified.
