Hadar
Hadar was a powerful Elder God, commonly associated with The Great Old Ones. He is thought to be the father of Retch. Hadar is a maelstrom of malevolent insanity, a seething force that embodies the collapse of reason. His form is unknowable, but legends speak of a writhing mass of eyes and mouths, each gibbering truths that unravel the mind. It is said that those who glimpse his essence are doomed to eternal delirium, forever questioning the fabric of reality. Hadar is believed to be the source of ill thought, a force that seeps into mortal minds, sowing chaos and paranoia. His followers are rare but catastrophic, cultists driven by visions of discord and destruction. The mere mention of his name is said to summon whispers that cannot be unheard.
Artifacts
Many artifacts of the Great Old Ones were destroyed during the God Severment. However, the Sword of Answering lingers on, split into nine pieces, with each containing the essence of one of the long dead Great Old Ones. The sword Back Talker contains the essence of Hadar.
