Balthazar the Great
Balthazar the Great is a noted High Elven artist, popular amongst the people of The City of Spires. He is a major benefactor of The Red Tentacle and owner of The Flesh Galleries. Despite his name, he is considered by many of his peers as an incompetent buffoon.
Balthazar first came to fame with his The Flesh Galleries exhibition 'The Mind of the Drow', which utilised Drow techniques in the brushwork. While many of his peers derided him, granting him the sarcastic nickname of 'The Great' for his notable ego, it was a hit amongst the nobles and general populace, earning Balthazar enough income to purchase the Galleries outright. Balthazar donned the nickname of 'The Great', which did nothing to deflate his ever-growing ego.
