Session 75

Starting in Knowing Noga's hut.

Three levels and a basement. Each level is 10ft in diameter except the bottom which is 15 ft. The basement is a crooked hallway 60 ft long that tapers to the end that meets the surface. Noga's tree hut was sprouted from her killing a Tashkent Fire giant. Or more accurately, she sprouted it from near to where she killed an envoy who has a matching distinguishing mark to Zoowist and Tarlk. . The mark is a ridge that extends up from the tip of the nose to meet a similarly straight ridge at a right angle. The perpendicular ridge extends from the highest point on the head on the skull. For Zoowist & Tarlk its a metal headpiece that imitates the ancient practice of reforming the skull like that.
Clogher, Slane, and Throg were just making stew from fermented greenland shark and were picking out the best ones. Several were turning undead from the necrotic energy that frequently suffuses the space and have zombie stat blocks. There are two on each floor.

You appear inside a dead tree, a snag, with the teleportation circle painted on the rough walls , rough and rotten enough for you to find footholds. The space smells strongly of ammonia from the hanging deep sea shark hanging off of the larger chunks of the inside snag. The snag shakes with the movements of a slimy and muscular bipedal creature with a big froggy face in the top of the snag. Down the trunk of the tree you can see a pair of similarly muscular and bipedal amphibian creatures. One seems to be salamander in its features and the other a toad. The Salamander is lobbing chunks of meat into a cauldron and its unclear what the toad is doing. The salamander looks up at you.
The bottom chamber is a hollow made of the roots of the tree with about a foot and a half of saltwater in it. A cauldron sits beneath the trunk and the walls have various nicknacks and doodads stuck into it. Most notably is a three and a half foot tall and strangely shaped skull embedded in a particularly large root with a iron rod sticking out of one of its eyes. There are around a dozen shunken heads of witches hanging like garlic in a chain.
