The Storm Forger at Lightningtop

Off the northeast coast of Irynia lies the Island of Storms, an inhospitable few miles of volcanic rocks in the roughest part of the Steel Sea. The dark gray wedges rise squat out of the crashing waves, and the tallest among them is known as Lightningtop. It is said that a forge of gods lies atop the peak, powered by the constant strikes that shatter the peak. The one who wrights the it is known as the Storm Forger, a title held by only two. The first Storm Forger was the discoverer of the Island of Storms, the Wild Elv Redfeiler Takkentiem, a navigator. After discovering the potential of Lightningtop, he spent nearly 50 years personally hauling the supplies to build the Forge, which he named Mluden Paeir, or "Flash-Forge". After construction, he travelled across Naufath to learn from the greatest smiths in the world, becoming a master in his own right. He retired to the Lightningtop, where the lightning-fueled forge allowed him to create dozens of unique and powerful weapons, all of which are highly prized to this day. After his death, the forge was abandoned for centuries, before being rediscovered by a wizard, whose true name is lost. He created the weapons that the forge is best known for, such as Crackling Whips, Lightning Bolts, Static Cages, Force Bows, Shock Spears, and Storm Swords. These weapons made the wizard fabulously famous and wealthy, and these powerful magical weapons were once commonplace across the northeast coast of Naufath. The only drawback was their reliance on lightning to recharge their power, which was difficult to perform consistently. Consequently, many of these weapons ended up abandoned and lost, making working examples a rarity in the Fourth Era. For classifications sake, the prior weapons are known as weapons made of Storm Steel while the latter are Storm Forged.
