In the first week if Bodaim, lizardfold of the Red Marsh spotted The Black Tower had risen! So Sethek travels to Quickmarch.

Shortly after the Great Earth Quake, the Redmarsh Lizardfolk noted the rise of the Black Tower. They shortly sent the warrior Sethek to Quickmarch to impress upon the humans the need for them to deal with the problem.   The reve of Quickmarch, Berrek , selected a group of mercenaries to deal with the tower. Following Sethek's lead, the set off a day later to find the truth.
