House Willow
They are an old Alberon noble family who remained in Brickerton through the dwarven empire and remain after they have gone. The Lord of this house is a city councilman for The City-State of Brickerton. They have grey hair and dark blue eyes. Their crest is that of an asymetrical silver tree, swaying in the wind, on a blue background.
In the Year 800, following the Alberonian civil wars in the wake of the fall of the Brickertonian Empire, House Willow was elevated to Royalty and Lord Edward Willow became king of the newly formed Kingdom of Alberon. Since then the house has ruled Alberon for 2200 years. When the Holy Dwarven Empire took Alberon they butchered the royal family and strung them up for heretics. The current Lord Willow was a wealthy businessman and the king's 3rd cousin. He went into hiding and lasted through dwarven rule, helping to fund and organize various resistance factions. Now in the city-state of Brickerton he has been elected Governor. While he isn't King the people still look to him.
Marcus Willow. Lord Willow's younger brother. He was the number 2 of his company for years until Lord Willow became Governor, now he runs the whole thing. He is economically driven and is known to not be as honorable as Lord Willow. There are also rumors that he is a rampant gambler and ladies man even though he is married.
Velma Willow. Lord Willow's only child since her brother and mother died during the dwarven occupation. She is currently at the Talon School and unmarried, several noble houses from the North Lords Alliance and Kingdom of Southfield are reportedly interested in her hand and the alliance it would bring with Brickerton.
