House Maplecrest

They were prominent nobles in the Brickertonian Empire and the Kingdom of Alberon. When the dwarves invaded many of them stayed and helped organize resistance efforts and underground railroads to reunite families. They are known for keeping and acreage of maple trees and for their high quality syrup. Recently they were chosen as the royal family of The Kingdom of Southfield, a position that they have eagerly taken on. Maplecrests have always been known as fair and honest, their word is important to them. Their symbol is a gold maple leaf on a red background.

Meet The Family

Alexander Maplecrest. King of Southfield, head of the family. During the dwarven incursion, he helped many to safety in Hansola, and aided in the Sumarrian retake of the continent. Since taking office he has organized the kingdom, provided aid to those in need, and created an era of prosperity for Southfield and its people. His only unpopular decree is the ban on organized religion not approved by him or your local Count/Baron.
Allison Maplecrest. Queen of Southfield, married to Alexander. She is descended from the royal family of Alberon that ruled after the Greens until the dwarven invasion. She is more traditionalist than her husband and favors the Counts of noble blood over the newly intalled Barons.
Phillip Maplecrest. The king's younger brother. Prince Phillip is a knight who has elevated many commonborn soldiers to new station. He finds those of with skill and honor above their peers and brings them into his order. He is the leader of The Scarlet Dawn, a knightly order well known for their defense of the commoners. He is also his brother's Master of War, leading the Southfield army.
