Centaur

Centaurs are a hybrid human-horse species. According to legend they were created by magically merging humans and horses. This is said to have happened in the Age of Darkness

It is said that centaurs aren't pure creations of Lady Susanne. When the Empire of Atamor first met with the Steppe Riders the Emperor knew that Imperial Knights would have no chance with them. To remedy this, Koschei the Deathless prepared a spell which was meant to improve the knights' skills. However, the spell backfired and merged the knights and their horses into one creature. The Emperor decided to sent them to the Western Steppe to fight the Steppe Riders. The Empire lost contact with the knights the moment they crossed into the steppe.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Centaurs are a mixture of a human and a horse. They have four legs on the horse part of their body and two hands on the human part. The internal organs are situated in both parts of a centaur's body. Heart and lungs are in the human part, while stomach, liver, intestines and the reproductive system are in the horse part.
