Ursham

Overview

Ursham is a village that grew up around The Adventurers Guild . It was named for the leader of the guild, Ursula Blightbane and all the work she did bringing business and visitors to the town, as well as protecting it.
The town itself is idyllic, with the raw power of the greatest heroes in the world walking it's streets, crime is non-existent. Money is plentiful from the frequent visitors and nothing short of a demon lord would dare attack the town.

Points of Interest

The Millstone Tavern

The Millstone tavern is a lively place, run by retired adventurer Jonah Bardstaff . Jonah retired from adventuring after losing a leg in an excursion that went terribly wrong years ago.
The tavern has half a dozen rooms and a bunkhouse with additional lodging to be found in the coach house on the other side of the river. It is a lively place, often full of aspirants to the guild, or heroes wanting to get away from the AG Mess Hall. These both rub shoulders with the local townsfolk who are only too eager to hear stories and songs of heroism.

Artisans Quarter

Consisting of:
  • Baker
  • Barber & surgeon
  • Weaver & potter
  • Jeweler & glassblower
  • Tailor & cobbler
  • Carpenter & mason's yard.

Housing Quarter

Most of the housing is grouped together with easy access to wells and routes to places of work

Farms & Orchards

The need for food and drink is constant, farms provide most of this with some rarer goods and spices being imported. The most notable import is Bugman's XXXX ale, the drink of choice in the AG, and brewed in nearby Draconia .

Coach House & Stable

Intended as a more functional bunkhouse and waypoint than the Millstone Tavern. This is where visiting merchants or passing travelers stay.

Ringo’s Emporium

A haberdashery of various items and gear that an adventurer may need, from looking glasses to winter furs, from snow shoes to little mirrors on extendable rods. If you need it, Ringo has it. The emporium does not sell any weapons or armor.

Water Mill

Situated on the river, the mill provides flour for the town. It was actually the first completed structure in the town, built to help feed the workers constructing The Adventurers Guild.

Woodsman's & Hunters Lodge

Located on the outskirts of town, it is the source of animal hides and lumber.

Fisherman’s Hut

Garak is the fisherman. He is from East Shallaugh. He works with his two nephews.
