Personal history
Eladan was born in the year 790. His father was a blacksmith who wanted nothing more than for his only son to follow in his footsteps. He disapproved of his son's strange desire to learn how to read. That was a luxury for priests and nobles. He felt no desire to spend his days in the forge so after reaching the age of majority in the year 805 he appealed to the city temple. Soon after he took his vows and entered the temple as a novice. His parents weren't happy about this but there was little they could do about it. The priesthood was a noble calling and it was an honour to have a family member serve in the temple.
He proved to be a quick study, rising rapidly through the ranks of the priesthood. By age 30 he was ranked among the senior priests.
In the year 848, Eladan was chosen to become the next Chief Priest of Kal Sharash, one of the youngest to serve in that role.
He was among the group of priests that discovered Chounen to be a Dragon Warrior in 857 although that happened quite by accident.
Eladan was instrumental in helping Kinrou adjust to his new life in Karath after accidentally bonding with an uncleansed Sacred Gem in the year 874. He passed away from complications due to Black Lung soon after. He was succeeded by Mienna Sahiil.
Education
He's familiar with various metals and how to work them. Unlike many from his social class he's quite literate and enjoys reading. He has a poor head for numbers though.

He's spent the majority of his life serving in the temples. He's served in his home temple in Onjelaria as well as in Liraiyen and in Karath.
