Dragonbane Abomination

The abominable monstrosities that spawned from the Third Great Wish
Dragonbane Abominations are entities born from The Dragonbane, the Third Great Calamity of Animora's history.
Beings imbued with Dragonbane and the power of Unmaking, these creatures were the death of dragons across the world, causing them to almost die out in the majority of the continents across the world. The abominations are not truly corproeal, they are really beings of Nether, of unmaking, of void, chaos and destruction. They are creatures that, from a mortal's perspective, should not be able to exist whatsoever.
Born from a Great Wish made on The Crippled And Enslaved God's prison, the giants wished to end their war with the dragons, and used athis artefact given to them by their gods to do the deed. This backfired horribly. Yes, it is true that the dragons lost more than 95% of their population.
The majority of the various subspecies of giant went extinct, as the majority of their deities were consumed, unprepared as they were and unable to resist these horrors beyond mortal comprehension, and the world was no longer habitable to them. Their ability to draw faith, now a poison, as when seperated from the dominion of their deity, they started channeling the power the world had been infected by, and it broke them from inside until they died a grusome and most painful death.
These creatures will feed on magic until there is nothing left, at which point they will likely starve to death, and with them the corrupted power within them is released, now free of its corruption and greatly lessened in magnitude.
it is the dragonbane and the dragonabne abominations' fault that the magic of the world have been permanently weakened, and that there are so much fewer deities these days than there once were.
