deity

A deity is any being able to draw power from Faith, to the extent that, should they have no worshippers at all, a small community could over time either noticably increase their power or feed their existing power over a lifetime.
Many deities with active believers are classified as gods, however not all of them are, as a god is a being of power, while deities are beings drawing power from faith.
Deities has a Deific domain, and with a few exceptions, they have have a deific dominion.
Deities are of the second magic sphere.

Types of deities

Ancients

Ancients are a species of ascended mortals who lived before the dragonbane.

Ascended

Ascended are beings born from mortals who have mastered the five states of soul essence who have attained sufficient power for their souls to become something more and fully reach the divine plane, ascending and becoming a deity.
The children of elari are considered ascended, as they possess an innate mastery of the five states of soul essence.

Draconic deities

Draconic deities are deities with draconic aspects. It is also a term used for groups of deities who descend from dragons or dragonlords and elari who are by their nature deities.

Elari

Elari are entities with great power in their own right, empowered and shaped by faith as time passes.
Elari are also slowly bound to the land in which they reside, and are usually spiritual beings mostly existing on the divine plane, but always possessing a corporeal aspect, usually in the form of avatars, aspects and a land they are connected to and are a part of.

Ascended elari

Naadia

Naadia are aspectual deities that are the manifistation of a spesific concept/aspect. Naadia are bound to their concept and whatever domains they are associated with. they lack any degree of free will beyond what they physically possess, and are effectivly magical automatons bound to their own concept.

Deific actions

Deific ascension

Deific ascension is the act of a mortal becoming a deity through the accumelation of power and the ascension of their being through the mastery of all five forms of Soul essence.

Deific mantling

Deific mantling is the act of becoming the avatar of a deity, usually of a naadia.
