Peairo

Peairo

Peairo was one of the Ancients to whom posthumously the domain of death was assigned. Sheh is mentioned in various myths and is the protagonist in some of them, most notably in the Sacrifice of Peairo. According to this myth sheh is responsible for granting the Javeii of the Ancient Ways the means to peacefully and safely transcend to a next stage of being/existing through a ritual known as ofscension.

Divine Domains

Peairo's main domain is that of death and sheh is closely related to and revered during the ritual of ofscension. This has become shehm domain only after shehm own death, making it her passsive, post-mortem domain. During life Peairo was not assigned a specific domain and it's only through shehm actions described in the Sacrifice of Peairo that sheh gained this domain.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Purpaurantius is used to symbolize (the passing of) time and is therefore also commonly associated with death, the ritual of ofscension and Peairo shehmself. When purpaurantius is used in a religious context it is commonly understood to symbolize Peairo.
